Justine Kaemmerlen is a photographer based in San Francisco's Mission District whose focus is alternative & environmentally-conscious photography.
Utilizing both traditional & alternative photographic processes in and out of the darkroom and foraged natural objects, she strives to explore the interplay between shadow & light, color, and texture created by both man-made and natural forces. Her work is informed by a strong interest in environmental preservation and human-nature relationships.
